Refund policy

At HYANG STUDIO, we inspect every package before dispatch to ensure quality. However, if you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help.

1. General Return Policy

You have 14 calendar days from the date you received your package to initiate a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following criteria:

  • It must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.

  • It must be in the original packaging.

2. Non-Returnable Items (Free Gifts)

Please note that Free Gifts are strictly non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

  • We cannot offer replacements or refunds for free gifts, even if they arrive broken or damaged.

  • The return policy apply only to purchased merchandise.

3. How to Initiate a Return

  • Step 1: Contact our Customer Experience team at support@hyang.co to request a return or exchange.

  • Step 2: Once confirmed, mail your product to our studio:

4. Refund Calculations & Shipping Costs

SCENARIO A: Change of Mind

If you are returning an item simply because you changed your mind:

  • Return Shipping: You are responsible for paying the shipping costs to return the item to us.

  • Refund Amount: To cover administrative costs, packaging materials, and the original shipping fees incurred by us, your refund will be calculated as follows:

    • If you paid for shipping originally: We will refund the item price only. The original shipping fee is non-refundable.

    • If you received Free Shipping originally: We will deduct a Handling & Original Shipping Fee from your refund amount:

      • West Malaysia: RM10 deducted

      • East Malaysia: RM15 deducted

      • Singapore: RM30 / SGD10 deducted

SCENARIO B: Wrong or Faulty Products

In the rare event that you receive a wrong or faulty product:

  • Return Shipping: We will bear the full cost of the return shipping.

  • Refund Amount: You will receive a full refund (including any original shipping costs paid). No handling fees will be deducted.

5. Processing Time

Once we receive your return, please allow at least seven (7) working days for inspection.

  • We will notify you via email regarding the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • If approved, the credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment.

  • Bank Processing: Depending on your card issuer or bank, it may take up to 30 days for the refund to appear on your statement.
